Farrah’s of Harrogate has been producing its distinctive buttery toffee since 1840, using time-honoured methods that have made it a much-loved regional classic. At Kettlesing Distilling Company, just a few miles away, we carefully blend that same handcrafted toffee syrup with high-quality British grain spirit to create something quietly indulgent and unmistakably modern.

A subtle hint of Mediterranean lemon runs through the flavour — inspired by a long-told Harrogate story that John Farrah once added citrus toffee notes to help visitors better tolerate the town’s famous sulphur spa waters. Whether legend or fact, the gentle brightness gives this liqueur its refreshing character.

Everything is made in small batches to preserve consistency and flavour. Our lightweight bottles use over 50% recycled glass, while the fully recyclable tins are designed to be reused long after the last pour. It’s a considered approach that reflects both our surroundings and our values.
